Jack Taylor (b. 1990) is an award-winning photographer based in London, working around the world for editorial and commercial clients.
Previously based in Bangkok, Jack worked extensively for the Agence France Presse (AFP) covering news and features across Thailand for their global news wire service between 2019 and 2024.
Jack has worked frequently with The Telegraph newspaper’s Global Health and Development team on stories across Asia Pacific. His work includes coverage of the 2019 measles outbreak in Samoa and the dumping of toxic waste into the Citarum river in Indonesia.
Between 2016 and 2019 Jack worked with Getty Images News as a contract photographer based in London covering features and breaking news across Europe. Assignments included coverage of the final months of the Calais refugee camp in France 2016, the Catalonian independence movement in Spain 2017 and the Brexit campaign in the UK.
Jack holds a degree in photojournalism from the London College of Communication. During his studies he paid his way by working as a lighting assistant to photographers on commercial, editorial and fashion shoots across London, New York and Paris.
He has completed an accredited hostile environment and first aid course with SEPAR International.
